Evercam

The CTLD offers EverCam software  to facilitate distant teaching.

1. How to use EverCam:

EverCam software can be used to to record the content of a PowerPoint presentation.  By downloading EverCam it will be embedded in the Powerpoint software on your device.  If press the EverCam "recording button" (replacing the original "slideshow button"), and you will enter the presentation screen and recording starts. Anything that shows on your screen and your comments will be (voice)recorded. During the recording process, EverCam will build an index (chapter marker) for each slide explained, making it easier to browse when editing or watching he video. When you end the presentation (for example, by pressing Esc), EverCam will also end the recording. The content of your lesson content will have been recorded and can be offered as a teaching video for flipped classrooms set-ups or remote teaching. In addition to the recording interface that embeds in PowerPoint, EverCam also offers a set of independent screen recording software that can record any software operation process.
