EMI教學助理研習會

    為培養專業領域雙語專業人才，本校積極推動「全英語授課」，以英語為知識傳遞的媒介，教授各專業領域知識。本次的分享將聚焦教學助理在EMI 課程中所扮演的角色與功能，並分享一些教學助理可帶領的教學活動實例，透過教學目標的設立、教學設計的改變、學習責任的轉換與傳遞，有效的增加教學助理的參與度，進而提升學生的學習成效，讓EMI課程的教學成效更上一層樓。

1. 活動13:00分開始辦理報到，於13:30分停止簽到，未簽到者無法蓋築夢踏實之研習認證章，敬請準時出席。
2. 本研習可提供本校教學助理相關之研習時數，需全程參與講座，如需研習證明，請於簽到表中註明，將提供電子檔研習認證。
3. 本研習可提供築夢踏實之研習認證章，如需核章者請於活動結束後出示填完問卷畫面始得核章，依據築夢踏實助學金計畫規定(五、申請流程之第二步)，須當場蓋章，無法事後補蓋認證章。
4. EMI課程教學助理可參與教發中心於本學期辦理任2場EMI講座，等同完成教學助理培訓，若需教學助理研習證明，請來信通知承辦人說明參與2場次講座，經中心核對確認出席，提供教學助理研習認證。若想參加EMI課程的傑出及優良TA遴選，參選資格為擁有教學助理研習認證，並且需額外參加本學期教發中心所辦理的2場EMI講座。

Speech and Workshop for EMI Teaching Assistant

To cultivate bilingual professionals and enhance students’international mobility, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) has implemented “English as a Medium of Instruction” in many courses. Thus, this will focus on the roles and functions of teaching assistants (TAs) in EMI courses. share the basic conditions and skills that EMI TAs need, and share some examples of teaching activities that TAs can lead.  The speaker will also provide examples of teaching activities that TAs can lead. By setting teaching goals, changing teaching designs, and transferring learning responsibilities, the participation of TAs can be effectively increased, thereby improving students’ learning outcomes and enhancing the effectiveness of EMI courses.

1. The speech will begin sign-in at 13:00 and end at 13:30. (Note: Those who do not sign in will not be able to receive the certification stamp for the Solid Dream Building Workshop. Please arrive on time.)

2. An electronic certification of attendance can only be offered full participation. Please indicate it on the sign-in sheet.

3. Participants who require the certification stamp for the Solid Dream Building Workshop can only receive it after completing the post-speech questionnaire. Participants must present proof of questionnaire completion on-screen to receive the certification stamp. (Note: According to the regulations of Solid Dream Building Workshop, the certification stamp must be obtained on-site, and it is not possible to receive it afterwards.)

4. EMI Tas who attend any two EMI speeches or workshop held by the Center for Teaching and Learning Development this semester will be regarded as completing the teaching assistant training. For the training certificate, please email the contact person and note the two speeches or workshops you attended. The certificate will be provided after the center confirms attendance.

The eligibility criteria for the outstanding TA selection in the EMI course are the training certificate and attendance at two additional EMI speeches or workshops held by the Center for Teaching and Learning Development this semester.
