成功的EMI課程,背後通常有位傑出的TA!EMI課程對於部分師生來說充滿挑戰,TA在其中擔任了重要的角色:輔佐教師完備課程、協助學生理解課程,並搭建起師生之間的溝通橋梁,是課程成功不可或缺的功臣之一。本次講座將分享成為傑出TA的三個面向:如何與教師工作、如何與學生工作、如何與自己工作。

Speech and Workshop for EMI Teaching Assistant
Behind every successful EMI course, there is an outstanding TA! The EMI course is a challenge for the teacher and students, and TA plays an important role in it: assisting the teacher to complete the course, helping the students understand the course, and building a communication bridge between them. Therefore, TA is one of the contributors to a successful EMI course. This lecture will share three aspects of being an outstanding TA: how to work with teachers, how to work with students, and how to work with yourself.

1. An electronic certification of attendance can only be offered for full participation. Please indicate it in the post-workshop questionnaire if the certification is needed.
2. EMI TAs who attend any two EMI speeches or workshop held by the Center for Teaching and Learning Development this semester will be regarded as completing the teaching assistant training. For the training certificate, please email the contact person and note the two speeches or workshops you attended. The certificate will be provided after the center confirms attendance.
The eligibility criteria for the outstanding TA selection in the EMI course are the training certificate and attendance at two additional EMI speeches or workshops held by the Center for Teaching and Learning Development this semester.
3.The speech will be conducted in English.
4. Refreshments will be provided for those who have registered for the event.
