EMI教學助理研習會

為培養專業領域雙語專業人才，本校積極推動「全英語授課」，以英語為知識傳遞的媒介，教授各專業領域知識。本學期以EMI課程授課技巧為主軸，安排系列講座，藉此提升本校教師在專業領域全英語教學技巧。本場講座將著重教師如何培訓教學助理來輔助教學，以及擔任EMI課程的TA應扮演何種角色，從講座中讓TA獲得更多教學技巧，同時達到培訓TA之效果。

• 其他說明：

1. 活動15:00分開始辦理報到，於15:30分停止簽到，未簽到者無法蓋築夢踏實之研習認證章，敬請準時出席。
2. 為配合本校防疫政策，會議室使用規定，進入會議室人員務必配戴口罩，並自主使用酒精噴液消毒手部。進入會議室時，並請間隔入座，額溫超過37.5度時禁止入場，並盡快就醫。
3. 本研習可提供本校教學助理相關之研習時數，需全程參與講座，如需研習證明，請於簽到表中註明，將提供電子檔研習認證。
4. 本研習可提供築夢踏實之研習認證章，如需核章者請於活動結束後出示填完問卷畫面始得核章，依據築夢踏實助學金計畫規定(五、申請流程之第二步)，須當場蓋章，無法事後補蓋認證章。
5. EMI課程教學助理可參與教發中心於本學期辦理任2場EMI講座，等同完成教學助理培訓，若需教學助理研習證明，請來信通知承辦人說明參與2場次講座，經中心核對確認出席，提供教學助理研習認證。若想參加EMI課程的傑出及優良TA遴選，參選資格為擁有教學助理研習認證，並且需額外參加本學期教發中心所辦理的2場EMI講座。

Seminar of EMI Courses and Workshop of EMI Teaching Assistant

To cultivate bilingual professional talents in various fields, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) has promoted “English as a Medium of Instruction” in many courses. In this semester, a series of seminars will be arranged to enhance instructor’s EMI teaching skills. This seminar will focus on how teachers train TAs to assist teaching and what roles they play in the courses. At the same time, TAs are also expected to gain more teaching techniques in the lecture.

1. Registration begins at 15:00 and stops at 15:30. (Note: Those who do not register will not be able to stamp the certificate of Solid Dream Building Workshop. Please arrive on time.)

2. For campus epidemic prevention, all participants are required to wear a mask and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer. After you enter the room, please be seated immediately by alternate seating rule, but if your temperature is over 37.5 degree, please do not enter and seek medical help.

3. An e-record can only be offered to teachers or TAs with full participation, but the request shall be notified during the registration.

4. The participating record of Solid Dream Building Workshop can be offered soon after the seminar, but only for those who show a screen proof of survey completion. (Note: The record application is not accepted afterwards according to the regulations of Solid Dream Building Scholarship Program.)

5. TAs of EMI courses who participate in two EMI lectures held by Center of Teaching and Learning Development in this semester will be regarded as completing the teaching assistant training. For the training certificate, please email the contact person and note the two seminars you participate in. The certificate will be provided after the attendance is confirmed by the center.

The eligibility criteria of outstanding TA selection in the EMI course are the training certificate and two additional EMI lectures held by Center of Teaching and Learning Development in this semester.

6.The seminar will be conducted in English.
